Ek Ladli Meri Bhi - Because Every Girl Deserves a Social Parent Who Believes in Her

Birthdays are moments of joy and gratitude. But what if this year, instead of gifts, you could change a life? Through Ek Ladli Meri Bhi, Ladli Foundation Trust invites you to adopt a daughter socially— ensuring she has access to education, healthcare, and dignity. By becoming a Social Parent, you make your birthday memorable not just for yourself, but for a girl who dreams of a better tomorrow.

Activities & Impact

Why Social Adoption Matters

Across India, millions of underprivileged girls face barriers to education, healthcare, and safety. Many were orphaned or semi-orphaned during the COVID-19 pandemic, left vulnerable to exploitation, child marriage, and early school dropout.

Why Sponsor a Ladli

From risk to action with protection, healthcare, and education aligned around one girl child

119M
girls are out of school worlwide
87%
adolescent girls are out of school
70%
girls & women were uninsured under any health insurance or health scheme (NFHS-5)
1 in 5
girls leave school due to high education costs

Evidence shows that each extra year of a girl's schooling raises her future earnings by about 12%. And if all girls completed secondary school, child marriage would likely fall by two-thirds.

The sponsorship will support the girls who live at the cutting edge of vulnerability where gender bias and structural deprivation intersect most fiercely.

Ek Ladli Meri Bhi is a heartfelt initiative that enables individuals and families to become Social Parents to such girls. THIS IS NOT A LEGAL ADOPTION (Social Adoption only), but a profound act of compassion and shared humanity. By taking responsibility for her education and well-being, you ensure that she grows up with dignity, confidence, and hope — knowing someone believes in her.

Social Adoption vs Legal Adoption

Legal Adoption

This is a formal, legally recognized arrangement where a child is transferred from their birth family to new parents, who then have all the legal rights and responsibilities of biological parents.

Social Adoption

This concept focuses on providing emotional, physical, and social support to a child, creating a deep, loving bond that goes beyond legal status. The focus is on the karmic and spiritual elevation of the child's soul and the spiritual good created by the adopter.
